Returns Policy

Returns are a difficult issue given the complexity of managing so many large and 
heavy pieces that are required to create our kayaks.  The shipping costs associated 
with each order is extreme. As a customer you do not see these shipping costs 
because we ship free to you always.  
Products cannot simply be returned or exchanged if the customer has just changed 
their mind for the obvious reasons of the extreme cost of shipping back and forth for 
our customers. 
If you wish to return a product you have 14 days from receipt to do so and only with 
prior approval and under the following conditions. 
A restocking fee of 22% is subtracted from the original purchase which covers the 
shipment to you only. It helps cover costs related to freight, bank/merchant charges 
and warehouse handling fees by our warehouse logistics company partner which are 
also expensive because of the size and weight of the boxes. 
The Customer will pay for all shipping costs related to sending the product back to 
the warehouse logistics company.  
Products must be in original, saleable condition and in undamaged packaging. 
Where the product being returned shows evidence of having been used then Rocky 
Mountain Paddle reserves the right to allow such an exchange or not. In some cases 
where the product appears to have been used or damaged then Rocky Mountain 
Paddle may accept the return for a lesser value, or refuse the exchange. All return 
enquiries must be made directly to the info@rockymountainpaddle.ca  .  
If approved, products must be returned with an approval number and receipt/proof of 
purchase. 
When shipping the product back it needs to be sent in the original box  
For your protection, we suggest that you ship the products to us with a freight service 
that provides a 'Signature Required' on delivery option. It is also very important to 
pay for  insurance to protect the kayak on its return journey. Please ensure you 
retain a record of your shipment until you have received your replacement or refund. 
In closing, please understand it is  important that you only order an AquaPod or any 
of our products if you really want one. The quality of the product is never an issue so 
the customer will bear all costs associated with moving the product back and forth.
